There is no option to sign out of Outlook for the iPhone app. The only option is to delete the account from the app. Here is how

What will we see change with incoming email messages? Emails from other CU campuses and the system office, our healthcare affiliates, and other approved university-supported platforms, will not include the banner. If your department or school uses a third-party email service to send messages and internal newsletters, those emails may be tagged with the external banner because the message originates from outside the university. Tools that are used by the university such as Microsoft, Canvas, and other supported applications will include the banner because the messages generated by our partner vendors originate from outside of the university.

Check These Things First

If you’re having problems signing into your account, make sure:

  • Caps Lock is turned off .

  • Your email address is spelled correctly.

  • Your account hasn’t been inactive for more than 365 days. To keep your account active, you must sign in to the account at least once every 365 days. After 365 days of inactivity, your email will be deleted and cannot be recovered.

If you’re still having problems signing in, you might need to:

  • Check the service status for

  • Reset your password. If you’ve recently changed your password, try entering your old one again. If your old password works, you must lock your device and then unlock it using your new password.

  • Turn off automatic sign in

Remove Your Old Pop3/imap Account

With all your data transferred and automatically collecting your new emails, you can remove your old POP3 or IMAP account from Outlook and set the mailbox as the main mailbox if it isnt already.

  • Set your account as the default account.
  • File-> Account Settings-> Account Settings-> select your account-> button: Set as Default
  • If you are using a Send Only POP3 account, then it is recommended to set/leave this as the default.
  • In that same dialog box, set your mailbox as the default Data File.
  • tab: Data Files-> select your mailbox-> button: Set as Default
  • Accept any warning you might get about changing your default Mail Delivery Location.
  • Restart Outlook.
  • Return to the Account Settings dialog box from step 1.
  • Select your POP3 or IMAP account and press Remove.
  • Optionally Switch to the Data Files tab and remove the pst-file from your POP3 account .
  • Set your mailbox as the default data file and optionally remove your pst-file.

    Configure A Pop3 Send Only Account
