How To Set Up Your Email Account On An Android Phone
Its great to able to access your email on the move. This guide will show you how to set up your email account on an Android phone. For customers using LCNWeb hosting,WordPress hosting,Email hostingor LiteMail with an Authenticated SMTP.
Please Note:The setup of your email may vary slightly depending on the make and model of your android device. The guide below was created using Android version 8.0.0 on a Samsung Galaxy A5.
Before you get started, youll need to have your email address and password handy. If you cant remember these details, you can check and reset them from your LCN account.
You will also need to ensure you have Authenticated SMTP enabled. You can find out how to do this here.

Create An Apple Id On The Web
After you verify your email address, you can use your new Apple ID to sign in to the iTunes Store and other Apple services such as iCloud.

Set Up Your Mobile Phone For Pop3 Email
You can set up your mobile phone to send and receive email from your email accounts. Using POP3, your email are retrieved and stored locally on your mobile phone and at the same time they’re deleted from the server. It is therefore not possible to access your email from different devices. Before you can set up your mobile phone for POP3 email, you need to set up your mobile phone for internet.
Slide your finger downwards starting from the top of the screen.
Tap the settings icon.
Tap Email address and key in your email address.
Tap Password and key in the password for your email account.
Tap SIGN IN.
If this screen is displayed, you email account has been recognised and set up automatically. Follow the instructions on the screen to key in more information and finish setting up your mobile phone.
Tap POP3 account.
Tap the field below “Username” and key in the username for your email account.
Tap the field below “POP3 server” and key in the name of your email provider’s incoming server. If Optus is your email provider, key in mail.optusnet.com.au as your incoming server.
Tap the drop down list below “Security type”.
Tap None to turn off the function.
Tap the field below “Port” and key in 110.
Tap the drop down list below “Delete Email from server”.
Tap Never to keep email on the server when deleting them on your mobile phone.
Tap When deleted from Inbox to delete email on the server when deleting them on your mobile phone.
Tap the drop down list below “Security type”.
How To Set Up Email On An Android Phone

Follow these step by step instructions to set up email on an Android phone
Step 1: On the home screen, tap on Apps > Settings > Accounts or simply go to Apps > Email to open up the email app.
Step 2: Tap on Add account and select the kind of account you want to add, e.g. Email, Google, Personal or Personal . Type in the email address and password for the account you want to use. If you prefer, you can set up a new account when prompted.
Step 3: Tap on OK to accept the Terms of Service and wait for your phone to sign in. This may take a few minutes.
Step 4: You will be given various options to choose from, such as whether to receive news and offers from Google Play. Tap on the box to put a tick in to agree or leave it blank to opt out.
Step 5: Once your account sign in is successful, you will be taken to a screen with further options to synchronise your email with your contacts, drive, Google Play, etc. Tap on the boxes to select or deselect the options you want.
Step 6: Tap on the arrow at the bottom right hand of the screen to finish the set up process.

Step 2: Check the email notifications box to receive an alert in your status bar when you receive a new email.

Key in Optus email and tap OK.
Tap APN.
Key in yesinternet and tap OK.
Tap MCC.
Key in 505 and tap OK.
Tap MNC.
