  • Open the Outlook Message tab by creating a new message
  • Choose Signature from the top ribbon > and select Signatures

    How To Add An Image To Office 365 & Outlook Web App

    OWA is formally called and used to be Hotmail. It is the free version of Outlook 365 and the instructions for adding an image/logo for both apps are identical. Simply follow the steps below.

  • Click on the Settings gear icon in the top-right of your web app
  • Type in signature in the Setting search box > and click the Email signature result and the signature editor will open. Create a new Outlook 365 signature if you havent got one set up yet.
  • Another way of getting to the editor is to click the Gear icon > click View all Outlook settings at the bottom of the Settings panel > then select Compose and reply from the menu in the Mail tab

  • Make sure the image is already resized. Google Photos will not let you shrink images.

    There are quite a few reasons why using an image as your email signature is considered bad practice and should be avoided at all costs.

    Cannot Click Elements in the Email Signature

    The point of email signatures is to allow your recipients to contact you easily, right? When you send someone an email with a signature that is just a large image, youre doing the opposite.

    They wont be able to click on your phone number to call you instantly or click on your website, social icons, email address etc.

    Not Able to Copy and Paste Your Information

    Similar to above, lets say the recipient wants to send your details to their friend to give you referral business. Well, they cant copy and paste the information because its not text, its an image. Youve possibly just lost some referral business.

    Not Scalable

    You hire a new employee, and they need a new signature. However, before they can get an email signature, you must get someone who is an expert in Photoshop to create their signature for them. A few hours later, and its done.

    It shouldnt take that long, and its easy to make mistakes doing it this way. Thats why its not a scalable solution.

    Not Consistent

    For an email signature solution to work properly, consistency is key. If you have 10 employees and 5 different looking email signature layouts, its not going to look good to your recipients.

    Manually Add Your Signature To A New Message

    If you’ve created a signature, but didn’t choose to automatically add it to all outgoing messages, you can add it later when you write an email message.

  • Go to your mailbox and choose New message.

  • Type your message, and then choose > Insert signature at the bottom of the compose pane.

  • When your email message is ready, choose Send.

    Step 1. Click the Gear icon in the upper right corner of your Gmail account, and then click Settings.

Think of your signature as a business card, with your full name, job title, and contact information, such as your phone number or link to your company website.

    How To Add Image In Yahoo Mail Signature

    1. Aside from being on the Yahoo! Mail page, the first step is to click on Gear Symbol or Options . This will make a drop down list appear just select Settings.

    5. Wait for the photo to load up properly. If nothing shows, it may mean that you were not able to copy the image successful . You may go back again to Step 3 if this happens.

    6. If everything goes well, the photo will load up fine. Then, the final step is to click on Save, and you’re all done!

    Next time when you compose an email, the signature will automatically be inserted. And it means your email will now look more dashing!

    If you are a regular user of LinkedIn, you may want to encourage your clients and contacts to visit your profile. An easy way of doing this is to add a button to your email* so recipients can click straight through to it. In a meeting I was asked to outline how to do this, so thought I’d post it here too.

    Signatures can be added automatically to all outgoing messages, or you can choose which messages include a signature.

    Note: Each message can contain only one signature.
