Displaying your photo in your email signature is a great way to help your clients feel familiar with you before you ever even meet. I know I personally love seeing the face of the person Im emailing, and clients seem to really appreciate it, too!

In this video tutorial, Ill show you how to create an email signature image in Photoshop. Then you can start displaying your smiling face in every email you send!

How To Add An Image Or Logo In Outlook 2007 And 2010

  • Open the Outlook Message tab by creating a new message
  • Choose Signature from the top ribbon > and select Signatures
  • In the Outlook signature editor that opens choose the signature you want to edit
  • Click with your cursor on the place you wish to add your image or logo > Click on the Image icon from the editors toolbar to upload an image from your computer
  • Use the editor to change the image size to fit your design and align it with your signature text
  • Choose a default signature in the top-right section of the editor window, for new messages and/or your Forward and Reply messages
  • Click OK, and youre all set up. Youll see your signature the next time you open a new message box

  • Simply type in signature in the search box at the top left side of your Outlook screen > and click on the Signature result that appears > click on Signature from the dropdown menu and the Outlook signature editor will open up
  • To get there you can also select the File tab > Click Options from the menu that appears > In the Settings panel the opens click the Mail tab > Then look for the Signatures button on the right-hand side and click it

    How To Add A Logo To Your Outlookcom Signature

  • Upload your image online to your website server or whatever site you prefer for storing photos. Resize the file beforehand, as the image will appear exactly the same way in the signature.
  • Log into your Outlook account online. Click the cog icon on the right-hand side of the toolbar, and select Settings. At first, you may see the Quick Settings menu. If so, scroll down to the bottom, and choose the option to view the full menu.
  • Click on the Mail tab, and then choose the Personalization subtab. Now, you have the option to create or edit a signature. If the feature isnt turned on, check the two boxes below the editor to automatically add a signature to new messages, replies, and forwards.
  • Insert the texts or links you want in your signature. When youre ready to add the logo, open your image in a new tab. Right-click on the image, and select Copy Image from the dropdown list.
  • Go back to the Signatureeditor, and place your cursor where you want to insert the logo. Press Ctrl + V on your keyboard to paste the image. You can also right-click directly in the editor, and choose Paste from the drop-down menu.
  • You can shift your text and images around however you like to get your desired layout. When youre finished, click the Save button in the upper right corner.

    When a message contains embedded images, Outlook will not show the paperclip icon or list these images as separate attachments.     The only way to be really sure that a signature image will not cause the paperclip icon to show or get listed as a separate attachment is by locating it on the Internet and prevent it from being embedded into the message.

    As you can see here, because we are combining graphics from Canva with your email text editor, everything doesnt immediately play nice together.

    Again, you can always create one really nice looking graphic in Canva for your entire email signature, but its not really practical if you want the different elements of your signature to be linked and clickable.

    So, to get around that, we are going to utilize Google doc tables.

    Just open a new document and choose insert. Ive added a 2 column by 1 row table here, but you can adjust for the different elements you want to display.

  • 2. Once you log into the Outlook account page, click the Home Tab > New Email > Message.
  • 3. Go to the Include group segment, press the tab Signature and choose Signatures.

  • 5. Hit on the button New and create a name for your new signature at the Select Signature to Edit section.
