Is Your Scanner Windows 10 Compatible

Before moving on, we need to make a couple of points. First, your scanners manufacturer may supply drivers for Windows 10, but the device itself may not specifically support the platform.

For example, we tested the following tools using Canons PIXMA MG3520 all-in-one printer with a built-in scanner. The recommended drivers date back to July 2015, though Canon released a newer suite six months later. Thats still three-year-old software.

That said, the scanner portion of this AIO printer would not appear in the native Windows tools but worked correctlyusing a wireless connection, in factthrough Canons software.

If you run into similar problems, you may have an older printer or scanner thats not fully compatible with Windows 10. The device may also require a direct USB-based connection if used outside the manufacturers third-party tools. For AIO printers, you may need to tweak its networking settings, so your Windows 10 PC recognizes the scanner component in addition to the overall printer unit.

How To Send An Email Using Another Email App

The Apple Mail app is the default way to send emails on iOS. We recommend using Mail, it’s safe, secure and you can use it with any email account.

In case you don’t want to use it, you can email your documents with another email app .


Verify that the email app is installed on your smartphone , follow the procedure above, and at step “3” select Other apps to choose your email app.


Scroll the list of apps, you might need to tap More… if your app is not listed in the ribbon. Tap the app to export your document.
