There is no “whitelist”. Contacts are not checked by the att/yahoo spam filters. So if some incoming email is going to the spam folder and not the inbox all you can do is try to train the spam filters by flagging that that stuff is not spam. Maybe eventually the spam filters will get trained…maybe.
When you say some emails “don’t go through” what does that mean? Some you send to reach their recipients and you don’t get bounce back messages? That needs more explaining.

I explained about the emails being filtered as spam by the spam folders. Mail you send should go through to their destination unless the recipient blocked it using some blocked address settings like att/yahoo webmail has which simply discards the email . Any other kind of failure should result in a bounce back message to you from either att/yahoo’s SMTP server on the sending side or the recipient’s POP/IMAP server on the receiving side. Alternatively maybe those “missing” emails you sent are going into the recipient’s spam of trash folders . I can’t explain any other possibilities, well, except that I trust the yahoo email service about as far as I can throw them!

Troubleshoot The Record Invalid Error
- If your DNS settings are invalid, keep the domain manager tool open in your browser.
- In a new tab or window, log into your DNS provider and navigate to your DNS Zone File .
Please note: each DNS provider has a unique layout and interface. These instructions give a general overview of the steps to take within your own DNS provider, but the navigation and steps may be slightly different. If you need to set up your email sending domain with 1& 1 hosting service, contact their support and ask for the Transfer Department. They should be able to set up the TXT record on your behalf.
- Find the record type that you’ll need to update or create. In the example below, all DNS record types are displayed together. Your DNS provider may show each record type in a separate section. If this is the case, find the section for your invalid record. Add a new record by clicking Add . HubSpot does not host email accounts so changes to your MX records will not affect your HubSpot content.
In your DNS provider account, set the record Type to match what appears in the Type column in the domain manager.
