There is no “whitelist”. Contacts are not checked by the att/yahoo spam filters. So if some incoming email is going to the spam folder and not the inbox all you can do is try to train the spam filters by flagging that that stuff is not spam. Maybe eventually the spam filters will get trained…maybe.

When you say some emails “don’t go through” what does that mean? Some you send to reach their recipients and you don’t get bounce back messages? That needs more explaining.

I explained about the emails being filtered as spam by the spam folders. Mail you send should go through to their destination unless the recipient blocked it using some blocked address settings like att/yahoo webmail has which simply discards the email . Any other kind of failure should result in a bounce back message to you from either att/yahoo’s SMTP server on the sending side or the recipient’s POP/IMAP server on the receiving side. Alternatively maybe those “missing” emails you sent are going into the recipient’s spam of trash folders . I can’t explain any other possibilities, well, except that I trust the yahoo email service about as far as I can throw them!

  • Find the record type that you’ll need to update or create. In the example below, all DNS record types are displayed together. Your DNS provider may show each record type in a separate section.
