Select Read the message.

S/MIME support is included with all Apple Devices. iOS is no exsception and its very easy to toggle even for common users:
How To Encrypt Emails On Outlook
1. In Outlook, click File.
2. Click Options.

Now when you compose a new email, youll see a small padlock icon next to the Send button. This indicates that your message will be encrypted before its sent out. The recipient will need to have their encryption key to decrypt and read your message, so be sure to let them know ahead of time if youre planning on sending them an encrypted email from Outlook.

Install And Select Your Certificate
These instructions assume that you already obtained an S/MIME certificate, downloaded the file to your Windows PC, and have the required password handy.
Step 1: With the Outlook desktop client open, click File located in the top left corner.
Step 2: Select Options on the next panel.
Step 3: On the Outlook Options window, select Trust Center listed on the left.
Step 4: Click on the Trust Center Settings button displayed on the right.
Step 5: Select Email Security listed on the left.
Step 6: Under Digital IDs , click on the Import/Export button.
Step 7: Check the box next to Import Existing Digital ID from a File if its not already.
Step 8: Click the Browse button displayed next to Import File.
Step 9: Find and select the downloaded file. Then click Open.
Step 10: Enter the password associated with the certificate file and then click OK.
Step 11: Click the OK button displayed in the security dialog box.
At this point, you return to the Email Security panel in the Trust Center window. Your certificate should already be selected for signing and encryption by default. To verify, continue to the next step.
Step 12: Under Encrypted Email, click the Settings button.
Step 13: Create a unique security settings name or leave it as the default.
Under Certificates and Algorithms, you should see the certificates appearing next to Signing Certificate and Encryption Certificate.
Canceling Access On Android Devices

Ways To Encrypt Gmail Emails
One way to encrypt your Gmail messages is to use a web-based service like ProtonMail. ProtonMail is an email service that offers end-to-end encryption, meaning that your messages are encrypted before theyre even sent from your computer.
To use ProtonMail, youll need to create an account and then set up your account to work with Gmail. Once youve done this, you can start composing and sending encrypted messages just like you would with any other email service.

This has several issues. First, generating a passcode requires you to give Google the recipients phone number. Second, confidential mode is not encryption. Unless both parties use TLS for email, Google will still be able to read an email sent in confidential mode so long as its in your sent folder, even after an expiration date passes.
We will stop short of calling Gmails confidential mode unsafe. It has features that provide a level of assurance the right people read your emails in an appropriate time, but this is not encryption by any standard.

Does Gmail Offer Encryption
