Having an up-to-date email address attached to your account is a great step toward improved account security.
Note: Each time the email address associated with your Twitter account is updated, we will send an email notification to the previously-used email address alerting you of this change. For more information on these types of alerts, read about account security. In addition, we will continue to store your previously-used email addresses, and will use this information for safety and security purposes. You can access a complete history of the email addresses associated with your account by downloading your data through .
Type your email address into the Email field. Note: An email address can only be associated with one Twitter account at a time.
Click the Save button at the bottom of the page.
Note: Your email address is not displayed in your public profile on Twitter. If you have not turned off the Let others find me by my email address setting, then others that already have your email address may find your Twitter account. When you update the email address attached to your account, weâll send you an email asking you to confirm the change. In the email we send, clicking the Confirm now button lets us know the email address is yours.

- Add your business email address as a user of this Google My Business page
- Change the permissions of this new user to become the primary owner
- Once you accept the invitation to become the new owner that youve received by email, the other user with your personal email address will therefore become a regular user of this page
- Go back to Users and delete the user related to your personal email address

When switching accounts, youll want to hold onto your account for a little while to ensure the process has worked smoothly. If youre switching jobs or leaving school, find out how long youll have access to your old email address before its deactivated and plan accordingly. Most organizations wont let you access your account, but some may forward email for a length of time to your new account.
Changing Your Gmail Address By Adding Or Removing Dots
You have to create a new Gmail account weve already mentioned it several times. But there is one exception.
You dont have to do anything as Google understands them to be the same email address. Therefore, you can just start using the email address you prefer, and all your emails will still be delivered to your inbox.
You have to add the other email to your account, though. Simply follow the below steps:
Step #1 Log in to your Gmail account as you usually would.
Step #2 Click on your profile picture icon located on the top right-hand side of your screen. And then click on Manage Your Google account.
Step #3 Click on the Personal Info tab located on the left-hand side menu.
Step #4 Scroll your mouse below to see the Contact Info field. Click on the little arrowhead in the Email section.
Step #5 Scroll your cursor down to see the Alternate emails field. Click on the Add alternate email option.
Step #6 Type in your alternative email and then select Add.
You may be asked to enter the password of your current email account for verification purposes. Simply fill in your password, and youll be directed to the page to add an alternate email.
Thats it! Go back to your inbox where youll receive and verification mail with the new changes. Click on the verification link to confirm the change, and itll be done.
